Faces of Old Havana.

In 2017 I spent 48 hours roaming the streets of Old Havana. Cuba’s a fascinating country, caught in a bizarre time warp, a mash-up of old Spanish, 1950’s America and the modern Carribean. The buildings are magnificent ruins, old Spanish architecture gracefully eroding into tapestries of color, shape and texture. The faces of inhabitants seem to match the architecture, tanned and weathered. Beautifully maintained 1950’s automobiles are everywhere. It’s a city unlike any other I’ve ever visited.
